Internal fan for Nintendo Switch Lite

This is the console’s only internal fan, located in the middle of the midframe. The console can operate without the internal fan; however, it will overheat and shut down in the event of prolonged use. This fan works only in the Lite version, while the regular Switch and OLED have different fans.

To check whether the fan is working without opening the console, you can start a high-intensity game and hold your hand or face near the fan’s ventilation opening.
