  • Type

    Flip-Up

The flip-up helmet is also known as "modular" or openable because the front part of the helmet can be lifted. It is relatively heavier, bulkier, and a safer helmet compared to the Jet helmet.

Its use is ideal for couriers who make frequent stops within the city and do not need to remove the entire helmet.

  • Material

    Thermoplastic

This is a plastic material mainly used in more affordable and entry-level helmets.

Thermoplastic shells, such as Polycarbonate or ABS, offer basic protection through deformation upon impact, with greater weight and lower production cost compared to composite materials.

  • Certification

Certification refers to the official inspection that confirms the helmet meets specific safety standards as defined by international organizations (e.g., ECE, DOT). It is an indication that the helmet has been tested and approved for its ability to protect in real collision conditions.

    ECE 22.06

New European-type safety specification certification "ECE 22.06", which ensures that the helmet is tested at 18 impact check points instead of 6 as was previously the case. It is now considered the most modern and comprehensive standard for helmet safety in Europe.

  • Pinlock (Anti-fog Film)

    Not Supported

It is not compatible with the Pinlock system, so it cannot be installed. In this case, the helmet does not have the fittings for adding the Pinlock inner visor, which means there is no special protection against fogging or misting of the visor.

Description & Specifications

The Flip-back Pilot Duo SV helmet in matte black is approved according to the European safety standard ECE 22.06.

Practical Flip-Up Design & Ease of Use

The Pilot Duo SV offers the ultimate versatility required by the modern rider in everyday use. Thanks to its modular design, it allows instant conversion from a full face to an open helmet with the press of a single button.

The opening mechanism is extremely simple and ergonomic to use, allowing you to lift the chin guard easily even while wearing gloves. This gives you the comfort and freedom of a jet helmet during your stops, while maintaining the full coverage of a full-face helmet while riding.

Durable Polycarbonate Shell & ECE 22.06 Certification

Your safety is the primary design goal of the Pilot Duo SV. The outer shell is made of advanced thermoplastic material, which is distinguished by its high impact resistance and energy absorption.

The helmet is officially certified according to the latest and strictest ECE 22.06 safety standards. This guarantees that it has undergone exhaustive strength and protection tests, offering maximum confidence on every ride.

Double Visor System & Anti-Scratch Protection

Ride with complete visibility and comfort under any lighting conditions. The helmet features a main clear visor with a special anti-scratch treatment for high wear resistance and crystal-clear transparency.

In addition, it incorporates an internal tinted sun visor (sun visor) that lowers easily, protecting your eyes from intense sunlight without the need to wear sunglasses. The quick release system allows the main visor to be removed or replaced quickly and without the use of tools.

Integrated Multi-Point Ventilation System

Keep your head cool and dry even on the hottest riding days. The Pilot Duo SV is equipped with a carefully designed ventilation system that includes air intakes at the chin (chin vent) and on the top of the shell (top vent), as well as rear vents for expelling hot air.

The continuous and uniform airflow inside effectively removes moisture and heat, while also preventing the visor from fogging up due to the rider’s breath.

Hypoallergenic & Removable Inner Lining

Comfort on long rides and hygiene maintenance are ensured with the Pilot Duo SV. The inner lining is made of soft, breathable, and hypoallergenic materials that prevent skin irritation and unpleasant odors.

It is fully removable and washable, allowing you to clean it easily whenever you wish. In this way, the inside of the helmet always stays fresh, clean, and like new, offering an exceptionally pleasant feel with every use.

Micrometric Buckle for Secure & Quick Fit

The helmet retention system uses a quick-release micrometric buckle. This mechanism offers excellent ease of use, as it allows the strap to be fastened and released quickly with a simple motion.

At the same time, it provides the ability for precise micrometric adjustment of the chin strap tightness, ensuring that the helmet remains stable and completely secure in place throughout the ride.
