The Freewell filter set is magnetic and designed for lenses with a 77 mm filter thread. It includes a Variable ND 1–5-stop unit with independently adjustable CPL, an ND32 filter, and a color filter for controlling exposure, reducing reflections, and enhancing color saturation in photography and videography. The VND/CPL unit provides 1–5 stops of light reduction, extending to 6–10 stops with the ND32.

The black ring adjusts the VND, while the green ring adjusts the CPL, which reduces reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass. The 18-layer optical coatings and True Color / Anti-Color Shift Layer technology help reduce reflections and unwanted color shifts. The magnetic mount features a mechanical twist-lock, while the front cap includes a gray card for quick white-balance checks.
