The Freewell Variable ND / CPL / ND filter set is designed for camera lenses with an 86 mm thread and includes a VND/CPL filter with a range of 1–5 stops and an ND32 filter with a fixed 5-stop light reduction. The VND/CPL filter adjusts the amount of light reaching the lens and reduces reflections from glass, water, and other reflective surfaces. Combined with the ND32, light reduction reaches up to 10 stops.

The 86 mm base ring uses a magnetic mounting system with a locking mechanism for quick configuration changes. The front cap has an integrated gray card for white balance checks and adjustments.
