The RJ45 / RJ12 network cable tester checks 8-conductor UTP, FTP and STP cables, as well as 6-conductor RJ11 and RJ12 telephone cables. The 8 pairs of LED indicators show whether the connections are correct, with each conductor tested individually.
The Autoscan function offers two test speeds: normal (ON) and slow (S). The tester detects crossed pairs, cable breaks, reversed pairs and short circuits. The power switch helps extend battery life.
