The Satra spark plug tester is used to check the ignition system in internal combustion engines. It connects between the spark plug lead and the spark plug to check for the presence and quality of the spark, as well as the operation of the ignition coil. When the starter is activated, the indicator light flashes if the ignition circuit is working properly.
Before use, the engine must be switched off and the spark plug cap disconnected from the spark plug. Connect the black socket to the spark plug lead and place the tester’s metal tip in contact with the spark plug before activating the starter. The device can be used on cars, motorcycles, trucks, lawn mowers, generators and other equipment with internal combustion engines.
