Barrage: The Far Companies is an expansion that includes rules for two new companies that can be used in addition to the four base companies and the fifth company already included in the The Leeghwater Project expansion.

These two companies have unique characteristics that set them significantly apart from the standard companies, both in terms of gameplay mechanics and components.

  • Japanese Company: Uses Bases and Elevations inspired by “earth-fill dams.” These Elevations can function as Bases, significantly increasing the number of Dams that can be built, although they will have limited height and, consequently, capacity. The machine used for Elevations is Excavators rather than Concrete Mixers.
  • Brazilian Company: Specializes in flexibility. Bases, Elevations, and Pipes can be built in any order on its board, with a wider choice of power and bonus types. However, components associated with stronger bonuses will result in the permanent loss of one or more machines.

Both companies unlock a special company ability when the third power plant is built.
