Technology & Construction Method

Major Craft is applying its new 5G technology to both its existing and new premium rod series, achieving significant improvements in two key areas:

R360 Construction

  • Different 360⁰ Weave: Unlike the traditional reinforcement method (wrapping carbon tape), the blank itself is made from layers of carbon sheets woven at different angles.

  • 4 Fiber Directions: The carbon fibers are arranged in:
    • Horizontal direction
    • Diagonal clockwise direction
    • Diagonal counterclockwise direction
    • Vertical direction
  • Result: A very lightweight blank with significantly greater strength and resistance to twisting, allowing the rod to respond flawlessly to forces applied from any angle across the full 360⁰ of a sphere.

    • Toray T1100G Carbon Construction Material

    • Aerospace Technology: Toray's T1100G is the most technologically advanced carbon material currently used in aerospace applications (e.g. aircraft tail fins or the floor structure of Boeing 777s), where high strength and absolute reliability are essential.

    • Molecular Modification: Modified at the molecular level, it significantly improves its strength and elasticity.

    • Strength–Strain Comparison: Compared with other composite materials, it behaves in the same way up to its strength limit. Beyond that point, T1100G absorbs a significant portion of the load, increasing strength by 13% and elasticity by 10%.
