100% natural salt from the Mediterranean coast of Croatia. It is harvested from small sea salt pans located in a nature reserve, far from industrial and urban areas. Seawater is channelled through a complex system of canals in centuries-old salt pans. Once the wind and sun help evaporate the water, the salt crystallises and settles. The salt is then harvested using traditional tools and dried before being sifted into grains of different sizes.
