The new front fastening system is simpler, with a cleaner, easy-to-use zigzag elastic cord that opens quickly, allowing you to put on or remove the backpack in seconds. The two front mesh bottle pockets sit further out and angle towards the body, making it easier to insert and secure bottles, while the wider chest opening allows the rib cage to expand freely.
Front foam padding prevents chafing around the ribs, while two smaller zippered pockets keep keys and used wrappers secure. At the back, a large lower compartment carries all the mandatory gear, such as leggings, base layers, waterproof trousers and an emergency blanket. Above it, a separate compartment with convenient access lets you quickly reach your waterproof jacket.
