The Makita work jacket features a fan with three airflow settings—high, medium and low—as well as a turbo mode. LED indicators show the selected setting, and the 18V LXT 5.0 Ah battery provides up to 12 hours of operation on the high setting. The sleeves zip off, allowing the jacket to be converted into a vest.
The chest pocket has a zipper and an opening for storing and charging mobile devices, and there are also two side pockets. The power source accepts Makita 18V LXT batteries and compact lithium-ion batteries, and features two USB ports for charging portable electronic devices, an on/off button and an integrated belt clip. The jacket is machine washable once the fan and power source have been removed.
