The Gledopto WLED 12-Key Remote Control (GL-RC-002WL) is a wireless 12-button remote control compatible with WLED controllers that support ESP-NOW. It operates on two AAA batteries and is powered by 3 V. Standby current consumption is less than 13 µA, while the wireless communication range reaches up to 50 metres under suitable conditions. The remote automatically enters sleep mode after approximately 2 seconds of inactivity. Communication is based on the ESP-NOW protocol, which provides direct wireless communication between ESP32-based devices. No Wi-Fi router, Internet connection, mobile app or cloud service is required, but the WLED device being controlled must support ESP-NOW communication. The remote is compatible with WLED controllers running firmware version 0.14.0-beta3 or later with ESP-NOW support, as well as Gledopto WLED controllers such as the GL-C-615WL, GL-C-616WL, GL-C-618WL and other supported WLED controllers.
