Description & Specifications

Colette Marchand has spent almost her entire life stealing jewels, following a centuries-old code of honor instilled in her by her mother: she takes only from the wicked and unjust, and gives to those in need. This family tradition was even more important seven decades earlier, during the Second World War in Paris, when Colette and her mother, Annabel, worked side by side to fund the French Resistance.

A Few Words...

But one night in 1942, everything goes wrong. Annabelle is arrested by the Germans, and Liliane, Colette’s four-year-old little sister, disappears amid the chaos of the raid on their home, along with a diamond bracelet. A little later, Annabelle is led to her death, while Liliane’s body is found floating in the waters of the Seine—but the bracelet is nowhere to be found!

Seventy years later, Colette has done her best to leave the tragic past behind, but she begins to lose control of her life when the long-lost bracelet suddenly appears on display in a museum in Boston. If Colette can discover who had it all this time—and who owns it now—she may finally learn the truth about what might have happened to her sister.
