Description

Network video recorder (NVR) by BCS with resolution 8K and 32 channels. In the case of network video recorders (NVR), video data processing is done in the connected cameras, which are then transferred to the recorder for remote viewing and storage. This means that NVR systems are compatible with IP network cameras, which offer higher resolution video than analog cameras, and can be connected to the central unit via ethernet cable or wirelessly, when both the recorder and the cameras have Wi-Fi connectivity. The number of channels of a recorder corresponds to the number of inputs it has for the wired connection of the system's cameras.

Specifications

Specifications

Specifications

Type
NVR

Type

NVR
Recorder that uses IP cameras and network connection for video recording and management.
Number of Channels Outputs
32

Number of Channels Outputs

The maximum number of cameras that can be connected to and managed by the recorder
Resolution
8K
WiFi
No

WiFi

Specifies whether the device can connect wirelessly to your router (Wi-Fi)
Number of POE
16

Number of POE

Specifies how many IP cameras can be connected directly to the recorder (NVR) and powered by it. Each PoE port provides power and data through the same cable (plug-and-play).
Incoming Bandwidth
448 Mbps

Incoming Bandwidth: 448

This is the actual processing power of the recorder. It determines how much "load" (data) it can handle simultaneously from all cameras. A high number is necessary for many channels at high 4K resolution.

  • Example 1: You have 4 cameras of 5MP (each requiring ~8 Mbps). A total of ~32 Mbps is required. An NVR with 80 Mbps Incoming Bandwidth is more than enough.
  • Example 2: You have 16 cameras of 4K (each requiring ~12 Mbps). A total of ~192 Mbps is required. An NVR with 160 Mbps is not enough and will "lose" cameras or reduce their quality. Here, you need an NVR with at least 256 Mbps.
Gigabit Port
Yes

Gigabit Port

Specifies the speed of the wired network connection (LAN). "Gigabit" (1000 Mbps) is 10 times faster than standard "Fast Ethernet" (100 Mbps). It is essential for multi-channel 4K NVRs to handle the large volume of data from the cameras without delay.
Ports
HDMI, PoE, USB, VGA, Alarm Output

Ports

HDMI
The digital output for video and audio. It is the standard way to connect the recorder to a modern TV or monitor (PC) and view your cameras in high resolution.
PoE

These ports allow you to connect IP cameras directly to the recorder. The camera receives power and transmits video through the same network cable, making installation extremely simple (plug-and-play).

USB

Its main use is to connect a mouse for menu navigation and settings. Additionally, it is used to connect a USB stick (flash drive) in order to export (take a backup of) specific video clips that interest you.

VGA

An analog video output. Used to connect the recorder to older computer monitors.

Alarm Output
Physical ports (terminals) that allow the recorder to give a "command" to external devices. For example, "As soon as I detect a person, activate an external siren or turn on the lights."
ONVIF
Yes

ONVIF

ONVIF is a protocol that allows cameras and recorders from different manufacturers to communicate with each other.
Video Compression
H.265+

Video Compression

H.265+

Smart version of H.265, designed for 4K/8K surveillance. It offers very low bandwidth in static scenes, combining high image quality with significant storage space savings.

  • The standard supports approximately 50–60 days of continuous recording on a 2TB hard drive

(Values and durations are indicative and based on standard settings. Actual performance may vary depending on resolution, frame rate, scene movement, and hardware.)

Smart AI Detection

Human Detection
No

Human Detection

The technology recognizes human shapes in real time. Ideal for security, area monitoring, or alarms, reducing false alarms caused by other objects.
Vehicle Detection
No

Vehicle Detection

Recognizes and tracks vehicles, distinguishing them from other objects. Useful for parking, traffic management, or road surveillance.

HDD

HDD Slots
16

HDD Slots

The number of internal hard drives (SATA) that can be installed simultaneously in the recorder.
Maximum Capacity per Disk
20 TB

Maximum Capacity per Disk

The maximum size (in TB - Terabytes) of the hard drive that the device "recognizes" and supports in each slot.
Includes Hard Drive
No
