Tight Regular Loose
Due to the content of the special anatomical insole, they fit tightly (one size larger is required). If the insole is removed, they fit comfortably. Excellent quality of construction!

1 star because the shoes opened above the back label inside a few times of wearing. This is a factory defect because the canvas (and not the synthetic material that it should be) tears immediately from the pressure on the dress.
Vans do not have half sizes, so in my case, I got the immediately smaller size (44 instead of 44 2/3), for skateboarding I wouldn't get a floating shoe.
If we overlook the difficulty with the dress, the shoes are amazing for skateboarding. Excellent sole, just the right amount of cushion and feeling, low profile toes so the feeling of immediacy is reminiscent of snowboard bindings, and very good grip.
If Vans fixes the problem with the heel tearing, we are talking about a top shoe.
Note that the vans (like this one) that have the small label (vans or checkerboard, etc.) on the side or back are the pro versions (whether they mention it or not) with the reinforced sole, which makes a huge difference compared to a regular vans.
Note: here, for shoes that broke on me in 5 wears, I'm not raging and praising them as skate shoes.
1 αστέρι γιατί τα παπούτσια άνοιξαν πάνω από το πίσω ταμπελάκι μέσα σε μερικές φορές φορέματος. Αυτό είναι εργοστασιακό ελάττωμα γιατί ο καμβάς (και όχι συνθετικό αντοχής που θα έπρεπε) σχίζεται αμέσως από την πίεση στο φόρεμα.
Τα vans δεν έχουν μισά νούμερα οπότε στην περίπτωσή μου πήρα το αμέσως μικρότερο (44 αντί για 44 2/3 ), για skate δεν θα έπαιρνα παπούτσι που πλέει).
Αν εναιρέσεις τη δυσκολία στο φόρεμα, τα παπουτσια στο σκεητ ειναι καταπληκτικά. Άριστος πάτος, όσο πρέπει cushion αλλα και feeling, low profile toes οπότε η αίσθηση αμεσότητας παραπέμπει σε δεστρα snowboard, και πολύ καλές τριβές.
Αν διορθώσει η vans το πρόβλημα στη φτέρνα που σχίζεται, μιλάμε για κορυφαίο παπούτσι.
Να σημειωθεί πως όσα vans (όπως αυτό) έχουν το μικρό ταμπελάκι (vans ή σκακιέρα κλπ) στο πλάι ή πίσω είναι τα pro version (ειτε το αναφέρουν είτε όχι) με τον ενισχυμενο πατο, που έχει φοβερή διαφορά με ένα απλο vans.
Σημείωση: εδώ για παπούτσια που μου χάλασαν σε 5 φορέματα δεν βγάζω rage και τα εκθειάζω ως skate shoes.
Apart from the design, the shoes have absolutely nothing to do with the '90s Half Cab - with the old ones, it felt like I was skateboarding with All Stars (full shocks and durability...).
In the new ones, they have added full shock-absorbing insoles (feels similar to Etnies) and the outer sole is much thicker in the front, indicating that it will withstand much more.
I have a slight issue with the size because I ordered them in 42 (like all the Vans I had so far) and they are a bit narrow - maybe I should have gotten them in 42.5. Hopefully, they will stretch out with use. Other than that, the shoes are very good!
Εκτός της σχεδίασης, τα παπούτσια δεν έχουν καμμία απολύτως σχέση με τα Half Cab του '90 - με τα παλιά ήταν λες και έκανα skate με All Star (full κραδασμοί και από αντοχή...).
Στα καινούρια, οι εσωτερικοί πάτοι που βάλανε είναι full αντικραδασμικοί (σε αίσθηση κοντά σε Etnies) και το εξωτερικό της σόλας πολύ πιο χοντρό μπροστά και φαίνεται ότι θα αντέξει πολύ περισσότερο.
Λίγο με το νούμερο έχω ένα θέμα γιατί τα παρήγγειλα σε 42 (όπως όλα τα Vans που είχα μέχρι στιγμής) και είναι λίγο στενά - ίσως να έπρεπε να τα πάρω 42,5. Με τη χρήση ελπίζω να ανοίξουν αρκετά. Κατά τα άλλα, τα παπούτσια είναι πολύ καλά!
