Vivechrom TOP BOND PRIMER is an acrylic water-based primer for absorbent surfaces such as plaster, concrete and plasterboard. It waterproofs and roughens the surface, helping cement mortars, adhesives and thermal insulation renders adhere and work better. It is part of Vivechrom’s THERMOPROTECT external thermal insulation system.
For interior and exterior use, apply one even coat using a roller, brush or airless spray gun. The surface must be clean and dry, free of loose material, dust, oil and salts. Stir the primer thoroughly and, depending on the surface’s absorbency, dilute with up to 10% clean water. Apply the render or next coat after 3–4 hours. For dark shades and fine-grain renders of 1–1.2 mm, tint the primer to match the render.
