X-BRAID ULTRA2 MAX WX8 is made from ultra-fine fibers, offering up to 40% greater strength than first-generation Dyneema/Spectra fibers. Thanks to YGK’s patented WX braiding method and HST treatment, the line has an exceptionally smooth surface, virtually no stretch, and increased durability, even in the most demanding conditions. It features a thin silicone coating that almost eliminates friction, allowing for quiet operation and longer, more precise casts.

Its advanced color markings make it easy to accurately track distance, with yellow and black marks at 1- and 5-meter intervals and a five-color sequence that changes every 10 meters. It is one of the most reliable choices for demanding techniques from both shore and boat. In summary, the line offers high knot and abrasion strength, reduced water resistance thanks to its tight construction, and outstanding sensitivity.
