The X-BRAID ULTRA2 MAX WX8 is made from ultra-fine fibres, offering up to 40% greater strength than first-generation Dyneema/Spectra fibres. Thanks to WX braiding and HST treatment, YGK's patented technologies, the line has an exceptionally smooth surface, almost zero stretch and increased durability, even in the most demanding conditions.
It features a thin silicone coating that virtually eliminates friction, allowing for quiet operation and longer, more accurate casts. The advanced colour markings make it easy to keep precise track of distance, with yellow and black marks at 1 and 5 metres, plus five alternating colours every 10 metres.
It is suitable for demanding techniques both from the shore (e.g. spinning) and from a boat (e.g. jigging, Tai Rubber and deep drop fishing). In short, this line offers high knot and abrasion strength, reduced water resistance thanks to its tight construction, and exceptional sensitivity.
