The specially designed back cover adhesive helps restore a proper seal and a clean finish to your smartphone after repair. This high-quality, pre-cut adhesive tape is precisely shaped to fit the housing of a specific model, making installation easier, ensuring accurate alignment, and eliminating the need for additional cutting.
-
Precise fit: The adhesive tape is precisely pre-cut, so it does not extend beyond the edges of the housing and requires no trimming.
-
Strong adhesion: Creates a durable bond between the back cover and the phone housing, helping reduce the ingress of dust and moisture into the device.
-
OEM standard: The manufacturing quality matches the seals used during original assembly.
-
Easy application: The tape is supplied on a transfer liner, making it easier to position accurately on the phone.
When should the tape be replaced?
- When replacing the battery or repairing internal components if the back cover needs to be removed.
- When replacing the back cover.
- When the old tape has lost its adhesive properties or has been damaged during disassembly.
Installation tip: Before applying the new tape, carefully remove any residue from the old adhesive, then clean and degrease the edges of the housing and the contact surface of the back cover to ensure maximum bonding strength.
Important: Installing new tape helps restore the device's proper seal, but the tape alone does not guarantee restoration of the phone's original water resistance or IP protection rating.
