The specially designed back cover adhesive helps restore the smartphone’s proper seal and clean appearance after repair. This high-quality, pre-cut adhesive is designed to fit the housing of a specific model precisely, making installation easier, ensuring accurate alignment, and eliminating the need for additional trimming.
-
Precise fit: The adhesive is pre-cut to fit precisely, so it does not extend beyond the edges of the housing and requires no trimming.
-
Strong adhesion: Creates a durable bond between the back cover and the phone housing, helping reduce dust and moisture ingress into the device.
-
OEM specifications: The build quality matches the seals used during original assembly.
-
Easy application: The adhesive is supplied on a transfer film, making it easier to position accurately on the phone.
When should the adhesive be replaced?
- When replacing the battery or repairing internal components if removing the back cover is required.
- When replacing the back cover.
- When the old adhesive has lost its bonding properties or has been damaged during disassembly.
Installation tip: Before applying the new adhesive, carefully remove any residue from the old adhesive, then clean and degrease the edges of the housing and the contact surface of the back cover to ensure maximum bond strength.
Important: Installing new adhesive helps restore the device’s proper seal, but the adhesive alone does not guarantee restoration of the phone’s original water-resistance rating or IP protection level.
