The special screen adhesive tape helps restore a proper seal and a clean finish on your smartphone after repair. The pre-cut adhesive tape is precisely shaped to fit the housing of a specific model, making installation easier, ensuring accurate alignment, and eliminating the need for additional cutting.
Key product features:
-
Precise fit: The adhesive tape is precisely pre-cut, so it does not extend beyond the edges of the housing and requires no cutting.
-
Strong adhesion: Provides a durable bond between the screen and the phone housing, helping reduce the ingress of dust and moisture into the device.
-
OEM specifications: The manufacturing quality matches the seals used during original assembly.
-
Easy application: The tape is supplied on a transfer film, making it easier to position accurately on the phone.
When should the tape be replaced?
- When replacing the battery or repairing internal components, if the screen needs to be removed.
- When replacing the screen.
- When the old tape has lost its adhesive properties or has been damaged during disassembly.
Installation tip: Before applying the new tape, carefully remove any residue from the old adhesive, then clean and degrease the edges of the housing and the screen’s contact surface to ensure maximum bond strength.
Important: Installing new tape helps restore the device’s proper seal, but the tape itself does not guarantee restoration of the phone’s original water resistance or IP rating.
