The specially designed screen adhesive helps restore a proper seal and a clean appearance to your smartphone after a repair. This high-quality adhesive is precisely pre-cut to fit the housing of a specific model, making installation easier, ensuring accurate alignment and eliminating the need for additional trimming.
-
Precise fit: The adhesive is accurately pre-cut so it does not extend beyond the edges of the housing and requires no trimming.
-
Strong bond: Provides a durable connection between the screen and the phone housing, helping reduce the entry of dust and moisture into the device.
-
OEM standard: The manufacturing quality corresponds to the seals used during original assembly.
-
Easy application: The tape is supplied on a transfer liner, making it easier to position accurately on the phone.
When should the tape be replaced?
- When replacing the battery or repairing internal components if the screen needs to be removed.
- When replacing the screen.
- When the old tape has lost its adhesive properties or has been damaged during disassembly.
Installation tip: Before applying the new tape, carefully remove any residue from the old adhesive, then clean and degrease the edges of the housing and the screen’s contact surface to ensure maximum bonding strength.
Note: Installing new tape helps restore the device’s proper seal, but the tape itself does not guarantee restoration of the phone’s original water resistance or IP protection rating.
