Vitex X-BOND PRIMER acrylic primer contains quartz sand and creates a rough surface to promote adhesion on smooth and non-absorbent surfaces. It is suitable for plasterboard and indoor use, as well as for priming tiles, concrete, marble, mosaic, metal, cement boards and polystyrene insulation boards. It is used before applying tiles, skim coat, plaster, polished cement screed or external thermal insulation systems.
The product is ready to use and is applied in one coat with a roller or brush, preserving its textured finish. Surfaces must be clean and dry, free of dust, oil or loose material. Plaster or cement screed can be applied after 8–10 hours, depending on the coat thickness and weather conditions.
