Vitex X-BOND PRIMER acrylic primer contains quartz sand and creates a rough surface to help subsequent materials adhere. It is suitable for plasterboard and other smooth or non-absorbent surfaces, such as concrete, tiles, marble, metal and polystyrene insulation boards. It is used before applying tiles, skim-coat filler, plaster or polished cement screed.
The primer is ready to use and does not require dilution. Apply one coat with a roller or brush. Plaster or cement screed can be applied after 8–10 hours, depending on the coat thickness and weather conditions.
