The GL.iNet Comet Q KVM switch (GL-RMQ1) is a compact KVM switch with a USB-C port and Wi-Fi 6. It enables remote control of smartphones, tablets, laptops and mini PCs without installing additional software on the controlled device. It supports video resolutions up to 2K QHD at 60 FPS, features a 1.8" touchscreen, provides access through a web browser and the GLKVM app, and supports Tailscale and ZeroTier.

The device operates at the hardware level, maintaining control even when the controlled device is locked, asleep, disconnected or offline. It is ideal for applications such as remote technical support and IT team collaboration.

Connect the Comet Q to a supported device with a single USB-C cable, which transmits video and data and supplies power. For extended operation or when using devices with only one USB-C port, the additional power input can be used.

The Comet Q is compatible with devices whose USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode. Compatible devices include models such as the iPhone 15, iPad Pro models from 2018 onward, and Windows laptops with USB-C ports that support video output.

Once connected to a Wi-Fi network, the Comet Q enables remote control through a web browser. The GLKVM app offers convenient touch gestures and precise control. The 1.8-inch touchscreen lets you perform initial setup and configure settings without a computer.

Wake on LAN lets you remotely power on connected hardware from sleep or standby mode. The device also includes a silicone case and a user manual.
