Young barley grass powder is a source of fiber, vitamins, minerals, and chlorophyll. Fiber supports normal intestinal peristalsis and serves as food for beneficial bacteria. The YK-1 probiotic is a specific probiotic blend that provides a high concentration of 100 billion colony-forming units (CFU) per daily dose. Probiotics are live microorganisms that, when consumed in adequate amounts, provide health benefits by maintaining the balance of intestinal microflora. Oligosaccharides act as prebiotics, meaning they are not digested by humans but are used as a selective food source for beneficial bacteria in the colon, stimulating their growth and activity.
