Nat & Form's Bouillon Blanc product is designed to relieve the respiratory tract and soothe a sore throat, using an extract from the mullein plant (Verbascum thapsus). The plant contains a high amount of saponins, which support the immune system and help maintain respiratory health.

Mullein is a biennial plant that can grow up to two metres tall and is widespread across Europe, North Africa and the temperate regions of Asia.

Plant composition and properties

Mullein is rich in beneficial compounds, including triterpene saponins such as verbascosaponin, catalpol and aucubin, as well as phenolic compounds, flavonoids and more. This diverse chemical composition gives mullein unique properties and a wide range of health benefits.
