Altermedica Goutweed Juice + Vitamin C is a natural formula with pronounced antioxidant activity, developed to support the healthy function of the immune system and enriched with natural vitamin C and goutweed extract.

What is goutweed?

Goutweed (Aegopodium podagraria L.), known in traditional medicine as “bishop’s weed,” belongs to the Apiaceae family and is widespread in Europe, including Bulgaria, where it grows in semi-shaded woodland areas. It is valued for its content of flavonoids, phenolic compounds, carotenoids, vitamins B and C, potassium, manganese and other trace elements, making it well suited for natural juices and health supplements.

How does the supplement work?

• Protection against oxidative stress: One of the product’s main roles is to help counter oxidative stress, a process that occurs when free radicals accumulate due to insufficient antioxidant protection.
• Immune system support: The immune system’s defensive function is a complex biological mechanism involving interactions between various cellular structures.
• Detoxifying action: Goutweed has traditionally been used in detoxification practices. Its diuretic action supports the elimination of metabolic waste through the urinary system.

Ingredients:

Per daily dose of 40 ml:

• Goutweed extract (Aegopodium podagraria L.) 10:1 – 2000 mg
• Vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) – 120 mg (150% NRV)
• Water, citric acid
