ECOBIO Poppy Petals (Whole) by Dary Natury contain dried petals from the wild poppy (Papaver - flos). Poppy petals are a unique decorative and aromatic addition to herbs and teas.
As an infusion, they have a positive effect on the respiratory system, soothing irritation in the throat and vocal cords. According to folk medicine, they have a calming effect. Modern scientific studies have revealed the plant’s antioxidant, calming, haemostatic, bactericidal, virucidal and immunostimulant properties.
Poppy petals can be added to candles and homemade cosmetics such as bath salts, soaps and exfoliants.
The raw material is of excellent quality. The poppy is harvested during flowering. The petals are picked from fully open flowers in sunny, dry weather. They are dried in the shade, spread out in a very thin layer.
