The Aquaphor B520-PX5 replacement filter is designed to pre-filter cold water in Aquaphor VIKING central water supply systems. The polypropylene traps mechanical impurities such as rust, sludge, sand and other suspended particles larger than 5 μm. As the first stage in a multi-stage system, it captures sediment before it reaches the downstream carbon filters, helping extend their service life.

Designed for cold water from public water supply networks, which must be microbiologically safe. It is not intended for water of unknown quality that has not undergone adequate microbiological testing.
