Dosage and Precautions:

Recommended dose: 1 to 3 capsules 2 to 3 times daily for adults; for children over 3 years of age, 1 capsule daily, with plenty of liquid. It is recommended to leave at least 3 hours between taking activated charcoal and medications, as charcoal may reduce their effectiveness. Activated charcoal turns stools black; this is normal.
