Folic Acid Active combines folic acid with three B vitamins—B2, B6 and B12—which are involved in blood production and homocysteine metabolism. Each capsule provides 400 µg of folic acid, as well as riboflavin (B2), pyridoxine (B6) and cyanocobalamin (B12). This combination formula supports normal red blood cell production and normal nervous system function, and helps reduce tiredness and fatigue.

Suitable for increased needs for folic acid and B vitamins, including for women of childbearing age.

Key Ingredients

• Folic acid: Folic acid (vitamin B9) is involved in DNA synthesis and cell division. It is particularly important for normal blood production and for women before and during pregnancy.
• Vitamins B2, B6 and B12: Riboflavin (B2) and pyridoxine (B6) support energy metabolism and help reduce tiredness and fatigue. Vitamin B12 is involved in red blood cell production and, together with B6 and folic acid, regulates homocysteine levels in the blood.

Directions for Use and Suitable Occasions

The recommended dose for adults over 18 is 1 capsule daily. The product is suitable for monotonous diets, increased fatigue or increased needs for folic acid and B vitamins. It is not intended as a substitute for a balanced diet.

Ingredients (per 1 capsule/daily dose):

• Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) 4 mg – 286% NRV*
• Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride) 4 mg – 286% NRV*
• Folic acid 400 µg – 200% NRV*
• Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) 2 µg – 80% NRV*

Other ingredients: Gelatin capsule, maltodextrin, magnesium stearate.
