The filters combine coconut-shell activated carbon, ion-exchange resin and AQUALEN microfibres. They help reduce unwanted substances such as chlorine, organic chlorine compounds, metals, heavy metals, pesticides, phenols, certain organic pollutants, rust, sand and sediment, while improving the taste and odour of water. Filtered water is suitable for drinking and for preparing beverages and food.
