The Code of Judicial Employees was enacted by Law 4798/2021 (Government Gazette A΄ 68/24.4.2021). According to Article 1, its purpose “is to upgrade and modernize the status of judicial employees, so as to ensure that their work is dignified, rational and fulfilling, and to enable them to make a meaningful contribution to the smooth and effective operation of the courts, as well as to the quality and standing of the Justice system.”
