KREUL Metal Leaf Primer is a water-based liquid adhesive designed for applying KREUL metal leaf to decorative objects. Its transparent formula can be applied with a brush for precise placement, or to create drip and brushstroke effects and highlight the surface texture.
Apply to a clean, dust-free, grease-free surface and leave to dry until transparent, for at least 20 minutes. On highly absorbent surfaces, two coats are recommended. After applying the metal leaf, remove any excess with a brush or soft cloth. Once dry for at least 12 hours, it can be polished with a soft cloth or cotton. Leave decorated objects to dry for several days, then seal with varnish, preferably KREUL Metal Leaf Varnish, to protect against corrosion. For indoor use.
