The Kreul Porcelain Marker Medium is used to decorate ceramic surfaces, porcelain and mugs. The water-based ink is lightfast, and designs can be fixed by baking in the oven.
The large, firm fibre tip retains its shape and has a writing width of approximately 2–4 mm. Shaking or preparing the tip is not necessary. Until the design is heat-set, the ink can be removed with water. To make it permanent, leave it to dry for 4 hours, then place it in a cold oven and bake at 160 °C for 90 minutes. After baking, leave the item to cool and set inside the oven. The ink can no longer be removed, and the item is dishwasher-safe. The inside of any decorated mug or plate must remain free of ink.
