The Axagon ADE-AM20 network adapter connects a laptop or computer to a Gigabit Ethernet network via a USB-A port and an RJ-45 socket. The F/UTP CAT6 cable is 2 m long, while the Ethernet connection supports automatic detection of 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps speeds.

It is based on the ASIX AX88179B chip and supports Wake-on-LAN, VLAN, IEEE 802.1P traffic prioritisation, Jumbo Frames up to 9 kB, PTP and gPTP time synchronisation, as well as iPXE network booting. It works with Plug and Play, requires no driver installation and is powered via the USB port.
