The Axagon ADE-CM50 network adapter connects via USB-C and provides a wired Gigabit Ethernet connection through a 5 m CAT6 cable with an RJ-45 plug. It supports Ethernet speeds of 10/100/1000 Mbps and USB data transfer rates of up to 5 Gbps. It is compatible with USB 2.0, USB 10/20/40 Gbps and Thunderbolt 3/4/5 ports.

The ASIX AX88179B chipset supports Wake-on-LAN, VLAN, packet prioritization, Jumbo Frames up to 9 kB, PTP/gPTP, Energy Efficient Ethernet, Checksum Offload, TCP Large Send Offload, AUTO-MDIX and iPXE. Plug and Play operation requires no driver installation, and the adapter is powered via USB. The housing is made of aluminum, and the cable has a braided fabric covering.
