Pre-painted, folding L-shaped ruins for competitive Warhammer 40,000
These folding, pre-painted L-shaped ruins are designed for compatibility with competitive Warhammer 40,000 games. They provide reliable line-of-sight-blocking cover, make excellent positions for your units and have a clean, consistent tabletop footprint, ideal for modern “Matched Play” games. Designed for quick setup and easy transport, they are perfect for tournament organizers, clubs and players seeking practical terrain with a polished appearance, ready to use from your very first game. They are also fully compatible with other 28–32mm-scale sci-fi games, such as Kill Team, Necromunda, Infinity, Deadzone, Core Space, Stargrave and Zombicide: Invader.
Each ruin comes fully painted in neutral sci-fi colors, with weathering that suits any Warhammer 40k army or battlefield theme. Once assembled, they are ready to play straight out of the box.
These “Matched Play” terrain features require simple initial assembly, for which we recommend using white glue (PVA). This glue works extremely well on MDF, creating strong yet flexible joints that stand up to frequent folding. We do not recommend using cyanoacrylate glue (super glue), as it may cause parts to come loose or become damaged over time.
The L-shaped ruin is also reversible: you can assemble it with the “L” facing either left or right. This lets you create mirrored layouts, adjust firing lanes and keep your terrain placement flexible, without needing extra pieces. Please note that once permanently glued, the ruin will remain in that configuration (facing right or left).
To avoid a uniform look on your tabletop, the set includes optional removable wall sections. Keep the panels intact for a clean, “competitive” appearance, or remove the pre-cut sections to add battle damage and variety—each ruin can be customized to your liking in seconds.
This pre-painted terrain is made from durable MDF and will instantly upgrade your gaming table, offering competitive play functionality, excellent aesthetics and easy transport.
