The Thule Expedition hiking backpack has a 60 L capacity and includes a detachable 20 L daypack with a compartment for laptops up to 16 inches and a ventilated back panel. The daypack can be used on its own or attached to the shoulder straps on the front of the main backpack for balanced, hands-free carrying. The sternum strap can be moved between the two backpacks.
The hidden pocket beneath the security panel is designed for money and documents, while the locks secure the zippers. Internal compression straps and pockets help organise the contents. There is also a protective pocket for a phone, glasses, cables and other small items, as well as a side pocket next to the zipper for a water bottle and small items. The shoulder straps and hip belt can be removed when not in use.
