The Abex recessed double wall switch functions as a two-way switch and can change the state of a circuit from two or more locations. It is used in stairwells, in adjoining hallway areas, or as a two-way switch and a standard switch. It stays in the selected position without the button springing back when released.

It can be installed in a box using claws or screws and features a quick-connect mechanism, with wires secured by pressure. The internal clamp supports wires with a cross-section of 0.75–2.5 mm².
