The DC Universe by Keith Giffen Omnibus is a sweeping celebration of one of comics’ most inventive, fearless, and genre-defying creators. From universe-spanning sagas to razor-sharp satire, from irreverent cult favorites to foundational reinventions of DC icons, this volume captures Giffen’s impact across decades.
How do you define the life’s work of one of the most imaginative and irreverent comics creators ever? We don’t know either, but we’re giving it a shot with this volume collecting a plethora of Keith Giffen stories plucked from the pages of Legion of Substitute Heroes Special #1, Legion of Super-Heroes (1989) #1, Justice League America #45, Justice League #5, Secret Origins #34, Lobo Paramilitary Christmas Special #1, The Big Book of Urban Legends #1, Blue Beetle #1, 52 #17, Ambush Bug #1-4, and, for the first time ever, The Heckler #1-6, restored in full color!
Featuring a foreword from J.M. DeMatteis, we hope this strange tome makes you laugh, cry, laugh some more, become confused, and be entertained by the one and only Keith Giffen.
