Description

The drill driver from the company CAT operates with battery 18 Volt (battery and charger not included). It is suitable for both screwing - unscrewing, as well as for drilling holes. More specifically, it drills in wood with a hole diameter of up to 152 millimeters, steel with a hole diameter of up to 13 millimeters, concrete with a hole diameter of up to 16 millimeters and various other building materials.
It stands out for its impact capability, offering high power to easily and quickly complete even the most demanding tasks. It has the ability to adjust the rotation speed and operating torque, so it can be set according to the task you want to perform, for example, screwing with low torque and speed on soft surfaces. Its chuck can accept bits with a base diameter of up to 13 millimeters.

Indicates whether the tool operates on battery or directly from the mains. Battery-powered tools offer freedom of movement, while electric ones provide continuous power.
Brushless

Brushless

The advantage that brushless motors have over brushed ones is that they do not have friction since there are no carbon brushes. Without carbon brushes, the motors are more efficient and have a longer lifespan as there is no wear (the carbon brushes in brushed motors wear out with use). They produce less noise, maintain constant torque at all speeds, do not overheat, and require no maintenance.

Steel Ø

The maximum possible drilling diameter in metal. The most common diameter for household screws is 6-8mm.
Wood Ø
152 mm
Cement Ø
16 mm

Cement Ø

The maximum possible drilling diameter in cement. The most common diameter for household screws is 6-10mm.

Features & Functions

Maximum Motor Speed
2200 rpm

Maximum Motor Speed

The maximum rotational speed of the engine in revolutions per minute. For drilling tasks, a number of revolutions up to 1500rpm is perfectly satisfactory, as there is a risk of breaking the drill bit due to the increase in temperature above that level, while for screwing tasks higher speeds can be used, especially if the material is soft such as wood or plasterboard.
Speed Adjustment
Yes

Speed Adjustment

Ability to adjust the rotation speed according to the task (low speed for screwing, higher speed for drilling into larger walls, maximum speed for drilling into concrete)
Maximum Torque
150 Nm

Maximum Torque

The maximum power that the tool can deliver to rotate a drill or a screw. Up to 20Nm, we can screw/unscrew small screws that do not require a lot of force to rotate. From 20 to 60Nm, we can perform drilling tasks in addition to screwing. More than 60Nm is mainly encountered in impact drivers that can screw/unscrew screws that require a lot of force to rotate, such as bolts.
Maximum Number of Hits
38000 bpm
Torque Adjustment
