The XSPC QX5 Photon 170 ARGB water cooling reservoir and pump combination features ARGB lighting. The Photon D5 pump has PWM speed control via a 4-pin connector, adjustable through the BIOS or a PWM controller. The reservoir is made of clear acrylic and has an aluminium base that does not obstruct the view of the tube.

The lighting is located at the back of the reservoir and consists of 10 individual LEDs. The reservoir can be mounted horizontally or vertically; when mounted horizontally, it must be filled to prevent air from entering the loop.
