The DeLock board converts a USB 2.0 connection to 5 V TTL for communication with microcontrollers, development boards and embedded systems, as well as for programming and debugging. It is based on the FTDI FT232RNL chipset and features a four-pole terminal block for GND, TXD, RXD and +5V.
Protection includes protective diodes on the data lines, a 200 mA PTC fuse on the USB port and a resettable PTC fuse on the 5 V output.
