The Wessper AquaClassic replacement filter is a water filter for a jug or bottle, featuring activated carbon and ion-exchange resin. It reduces chlorine and heavy metals, while the filtration system includes a mesh to trap larger particles such as rust, sand and sediment, as well as a screen that traps impurities inside the filter. The filtered water is suitable for drinking and cold beverages.
Before drinking, filter and discard the first two jugs of water, as they may contain carbon dust. After the first filtration, the water may be dark in colour, while small amounts of dust may remain after the second. After the third filtration, it is ready to drink. It is not recommended for water intended for boiling, as it does not prevent limescale from forming in the kettle.
