The Educational Insights STEM telescope turns space exploration into an interactive learning experience, featuring a high-resolution LCD screen. Children can watch 13 videos, explore more than 120 images, including content from NASA, and listen to 200 facts and quiz questions about the Solar System and the universe. The facts and questions are presented by Emily Calandrelli, from the Netflix series *Emily’s Wonder Lab*.
In information mode, the exploration covers six topics: planets, the Solar System, stars, galaxies, constellations and cosmic phenomena. In quiz mode, children choose a topic and answer by pressing 1, 2 or 3 on the back of the telescope. The dual eyepiece lets them view without having to close one eye, while the rubber rim helps keep it comfortably in place against the face. Designed in collaboration with scientists, it encourages STEM learning, an interest in astronomy and imaginative play.
