White Berling Monostop Vapor Elastic is an elastomeric acrylic water-based paint for protecting and waterproofing exterior vertical concrete and plaster surfaces, both new and old. It forms an elastic, waterproof membrane that covers hairline cracks while allowing walls to release moisture as water vapour without the coating blistering. It has high water vapour permeability and low water absorption, in accordance with EN 7783 and EN 1062.
Its low CO₂ permeability protects concrete and reinforcement from carbonation. It resists stains and rain streaks, efflorescence, frost, UV radiation, alkalis and chalking, while preventing mould growth on the coating. It covers hairline cracks in accordance with EN 1504-2.
Apply to a dry, clean surface using a brush, roller or airless spray gun, in 2 or 3 coats. Dilute with water by 10–15% by volume, depending on the application method, and stir well before use.
