Vivechrom Aquaxyl wood preservative is a water-based impregnating varnish enhanced with polyurethane, for wooden surfaces indoors and outdoors. It penetrates the wood and forms a thin, flexible, water-repellent film that enhances the wood grain while allowing the wood to breathe. The matt oak shade is suitable for new or unpainted surfaces, such as doors, windows, ceilings, wood cladding, sheds, pergolas and fences.
The film moves with the wood as it expands and contracts, without peeling or cracking. It protects the varnish film from mould and fungi, and the wood from ultraviolet sunlight. It has a low odour and is ready to use without dilution. Apply with a brush to a clean, dry, sanded surface. It is touch-dry in 1 hour and can be recoated after 3 hours.
