Dulux Trade Ultimate Woodstain is a solvent-based woodstain for exterior wooden surfaces, such as doors, windows and other joinery, made of hardwood or softwood. It leaves a water-repellent satin finish and forms a flexible film that does not crack or peel. The transparent iron oxide micropigments allow the wood grain to show through, while the fungicide protects the film.
When applied correctly, it provides protection from the weather for up to 10 years. Apply with a brush in 2 or 3 coats; do not thin. The surface must be sound, clean and dry. Bare wood must first be treated with 2 coats of wood preservative primer. Do not apply at temperatures below 5 °C.
